Fall Winter 2012/13, Issue 13

Out of his fascination with what it means for different individuals to be “modern”, French artist Xavier Veilhan has undertaken a series of installations at Modernist architectural sites around the world. His idea is to use the architecture as both inspiration for and a setting to display his sculpture. The article highlights the inaugural iteration of this exhibition series titled “Architectones” at Richard Neutra’s VDL Research House in Los Angeles.
